Network Administrator(3):
Sets up, configures, and supports internal and/or external networks. Develops and maintains all systems, applications, security, and network configurations. Troubleshoots network performance issues and creates and maintains a disaster recovery plan. Recommends upgrades, patches, and new applications and equipment. Provides technical support and guidance to users. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Leads and directs the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
Qualifications:
The successful candidate must have 6+ years experience with the following, Ethernet and IP protocols, (Multicast, UDP, TCP, HTTPs, DNS, DHCP, PPPoE, SSL, IP-VPN, FTP, Telnet, etc., functional and systems testing, technology architecture hardware and software, expertise with the provision and operation of Cisco and juniper ERX routers .Responsibilities will include, head end and video hub testing, integration, installation and operation of servers, network monitoring and network performance, and other duties as assigned. Knowledge with the following mediums is desired, coaxial cable and fiber optic cable, along with knowledge of these protocols, FTP, HTML, HTTP, Proxy ARP, and SNMP.
