Senior Cisco Network Engineer(2)
· Experience designing, supporting and implementing LAN/ WAN Cisco Networks
· Business Facing Role - Excellent Communication Skills
a Senior Cisco Network Engineer/ Network Administrator to design, manager and support their LAN/ WAN Cisco networks. The Network Engineer/ Network Administrator will join the firm as a senior member of the infrastructure team and will have a minimum of 5 years commercial experience working within blue-chip network/ server environments and be comfortable interfacing with business users & peer level IT development groups. The successful candidate will also possess both CCNA and CCNP Cisco network qualifications.
Key Skills & Experience:
· 5 + years Cisco data communication network experience supporting both LAN & WAN environments.
· Understanding and technical knowledge of EIGRP, TCP/IP frame relay, IPSec, VPN and Ethernet technologies.
· Experience interacting with both IT and Non-IT business users. Success in this area will highlight your excellent communication skills.
Hardware Knowledge:
· Cisco 6500 switches.
· Cisco routers.
· Cisco and Juniper Firewalls.
· Cisco 3000 series.
· PABX.
Highly Desirable:
· Cisco Works LAN Management Solutions (LMS)
· Universal Power Supply - UPS
· Experience maintaining Air conditioning units/ cooling systems.
· Financial sector experience.
